Still Standing is a powerful memoir of resilience, healing, and self-discovery. Rachael Travis shares the deeply personal journey of growing up in a home marked by fear, instability, and childhood trauma, and the lifelong struggle of masking who she truly was simply to survive.
Through military service, leadership, motherhood, and profound self-reflection, she discovers that true strength is not found in perfection or endurance alone, but in the courage to live authentically.
Honest, inspiring, and deeply human, Still Standing is a story of breaking generational cycles, reclaiming one’s identity, and proving that while trauma may shape our lives, it never has to define who we become.
